The CAC Foundation

Why Should You Have A Will?

What if you were to die tomorrow?

a) How would your family be looked after?

b) What will happen with all your stuff?

c) How would you leave a lasting legacy?

If you die intestate the Government takes a lot of what should belong to your loved ones. A proper Will reduces taxes and fees at death. Be sure to protect the ones you love.

Whether you are 18 or 80 years old, you should have an up to date Will.

CRA Charity Reg'n # 82582 6597

We sincerely hope you will consider contacting a notary or lawyer and request that your Will reflect the CAC Foundation as a beneficiary of your estate. This may be a generous cash gift or a per centage of your estate. In most cases these faithful gifts result in a significant charitable tax credit for your estate. The CAC Foundation Board of Directors suggests the following clause be added to your Will:

“To the Chilliwack Alliance Church Vision Foundation, located in Chilliwack, British Columbia, I give ($ or amount) as an everlasting legacy to be held in perpetuity from which the generated income will enable the continuation of Kingdom focused activities as approved by the Foundation Board of Directors from time to time. I also authorize the Board of Directors to redirect the funds as they see fit in accordance with the Charities Act of Canada should the CAC Foundation cease to exist.”
